Nicole Ari Parker is an American stage and film actor known for her performance as the spirited attorney Teri Joseph on the Showtime series Soul Food. She is now known by her married name, Nikki Kodjoe. From the time she was a child, Nikki Kodjoe was a natural actor. Contractor was given the lead part in Pericles following a brief time at University. She auditioned for the role at Stratford Shakespeare Festival (Ontario Canada) and received. After 92 performances, she received praise from the audience. The production was recognized as the best production by Canadian critics. The conservatory at Stratford is home to eight males, four women as well as a few others for a weeks crash course. Contractor received a guaranteed slot for the following season.
